Hi I’m Amy

A naturopath with a huge passion for holistic health and the human body.

I grew up in Adelaide Australia, but my love for the mountains brought me to Queenstown, NZ. I've always been fascinated by reproductive anatomy and human biology — I was the kid who actually looked forward to biology & sex ed. I grew up in a female-dominated household, with a younger sister, raised by a single mum. I also attended an all-girls school, so being a girl has always been a big part of my identity & something I'm very proud to be.

How I got here

Before becoming a naturopath, I explored other avenues in healthcare — a year studying Medical Imaging (Radiography) and two years of a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Neither path was quite right for me, but they deepened my understanding and respect for the body.

What led me to naturopathy was my own health struggles with post-pill acne, coupled with the understanding of the body I'd already built through those earlier studies. I knew something wasn't right, and that the mainstream medical system wasn't going to offer me much more than a pill to mask the symptoms. My curiosity, and my belief in the body's ability to heal, led me to a model of healthcare that actually aligned with my values: evidence-informed, person-centred, holistic, and rooted in empowered education.

Outside the clinic

You'll usually find me exploring the mountains — hiking, trail running, or snowboarding — down a research rabbit hole, or getting creative in the kitchen. I'm also a lover of fantasy novels, thought-provoking podcasts, and spending time with my loved ones, on the phone or in person.

My approach

My approach to practice is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and compassion. I believe in the body's innate ability to heal when given the right support, and I work with you to uncover the "why" behind your symptoms, not just manage them.

Using a mix of functional and standard pathology testing (when appropriate), I aim to bring clarity to complex cases and develop targeted treatment plans that are realistic and sustainable. You can expect a space where your experiences are heard, your symptoms are validated, and you're supported with practical, personalised care.

I'm here to help you feel empowered in your body again, and I'd be honoured to be part of your health journey.

Why I started a Girls Club

Like I mentioned, I grew up in a female-dominated world in a very open-book household. But even in a family where nothing was off-limits, the women around me carried a lot of negative beliefs about their own bodies. I inherited that narrative too, for a while — but it never felt like mine to keep. That shift really took hold when I began my degree. The more I learned about the human body, the more in awe of it I became — and the more respect I developed for my own. The old beliefs about my body just didn't have room to survive that.

Over three years as a women's health naturopath, I've sat across from hundreds of women who, as adults, still know very little about their bodies and hold very little respect for them. I've thought so often about how much suffering, shame, confusion and poor health we could prevent with better education, earlier.

I've also done a lot of my own work to unlearn those old negative beliefs about my body and build real self-love. The confidence and freedom that's given me is something I want every girl to have the chance to feel. Girls Club is my way of giving girls the start of that same shift, right as they move through puberty.
